When we first set up Dream Kitchen Spaces, our goal was to bring you the latest guides and articles on dream kitchen appliances. This may have been a lofty goal and we think we accomplished what we set out to do. We published guides on the most popular types and brands of dream kitchen appliances.

Then one day, it hit us.

If you are looking to remodel or renovate your kitchen and make it a Dream Kitchen Space, you needed a lot more information than just about appliances. After all, you won't have any place to put the new appliances if you can't redesign and build a kitchen to accomodate them. And who could get inspired to plop beautiful new appliances into a tired, outdated and outgrown kitchen? Nobody!

So, over the next few months we'll be adding more of the guides, articles and resources you need to help you get the dream kitchen you've always wanted. New sections like kitchen lighting, kitchen flooring, kitchen cabinets, kitchen fixtures, kitchen islands, kitchen renovations and an expanded kitchen appliances sections are just a few of the new content to be added.

A Complete Site Rebuild Takes Time

When we made the decision to completely revamp this site we knew we had a lot of work ahead of us. Our previous site had been a jack-of-all-trades, datafeed-powered appliance store with hundreds of products but no clear focus. The botom line is we weren't serving our customers well and it showed.

From our research before the site rebuild, we noticed that a lot of our visitors were coming to our site looking for higher-end solutions to help them rebuild or revamp their current kitchens. Plainly put, they were bored out of their skulls with their current kitchens and wanted to know their options. Our old site responded by helping them find things like small kitchen appliances. While these things can make life a bit easier in the kitchen, they don't change your attitude about being in the kitchen.

We Heard You And We Are Responding

For these reasons, we are re-focusing this site to deal specifically with kitchen upgrades and the information you need to be successful transforming your blah kitchen into a place you LOVE to be. We are starting with a select group of appliance manufacturers which we will expand if the need arises. Also, we will feature manufacturer profiles, appliance buying guides and, eventually, will partner with a nationwide group of contractors to help you with the more involved projects.
